In 2012 Spain Startup, together with IE Business School, saw opportunities for entrepreneurs at a time when the crisis had hit hard. With this belief, they created a platform to help showcase the best startup talent and creativity from the South to the rest of the world. Currently, more than 650 investors and 3,500 startups have participated in the South Summit.
After a very successful edition of South Summit in Madrid last October, the platform lands in Mexico City to bring together the best startups, investors and corporations. BBVA API_Market participated in Madrid with its own stand and organizing a Hackathon on October 2 and 3. This time, BBVA will once again be a partner of South Summit CDMX, with the participation of Eduardo Osuna, who will inaugurate the Playground stage, and Marisol Menéndez, who will take part in the pitch “The Importance of Open Innovation for the evolution of a Company “.
