Internet of Things is changing the world we live in. But this is not news. We live in a hyperconnected world, where developers play a crucial role.

Forecasts predict that by 2020 more than 50,000 million objects will be connected to the Internet. Are you ready?

On October 8, The API Hour will be holding a special event at BBVA Innovation Center: IoT Day. Tips will be given on how to face up to the challenges and opportunities that the Internet of Things is creating.

The event will feature live demos of actual projects that will astonish you. Throughout the day, more than 18 leading companies and startups in the field of Internet of Things and wearables will participate through speeches, debates and networking.

You will have the chance to attend an interesting networking lunch and listen to speeches covering topics such as sensors, smart cities, domotics, new user experiences, connected cars, wearables, IoT in education, business and everyday life, M2M or Quantified Self and many other mind-boggling projects.

The participating companies include Cisco, IBM, Telefónica, Zerintia, Fitbit, Microsoft, Insteon, Libelium, Aborda, IDC, Think Big Factory, Carriots, Cooking Hacks, BEEVA, Genoa, M2M Consultancy and Meetup IoT Madrid.
