With the new upgrade, users can access any article without having to leave the platform –that is, without being sent to a particular website.
The most significant advance for users is that Instant View Articles will enable them to save on loading times while reducing their data expenditure. The problem? For the time being, and according to the company itself, there are very few websites that are compatible with this system, although they plan to add more in the near future. Among them, Medium and TechCrunch.
2.- Telegraph
The messaging platform has also launched Telegraph, a tool that allows users to create posts with all kinds of embedded content that can then be immediately visualized in Telegram.
To test-drive it, you need to log on to telegra.ph, publish a story and share it in Telegram. This way it becomes a kind of personal mode of communication.
3.- Improved performance and design
Finally, the app’s performance upgrades have targeted the camera, which now takes photographs and videos more quickly. The photo viewer is also improved and is less obstructive.
The design improvements include the app’s new interface for creating groups and selecting users in the privacy settings, and another setting for notifications. In the area of security, it has improved its password locking (chats will no longer be seen in the task switch).
4.- Improved searches
The search for specific content within a conversation has also been improved with the introduction of a new method that allows users to search by specific dates. All you have to do is search within the chat and choose a day using the “Calendar” tool. This is definitely an implementation that will be welcomed by many users.
5.- More stickers and shared groups
Sticker packages are also very attractive to users. Messaging companies are well aware of this and make a point of offering new illustrations with each upgrade.
The new developments include one in the groups. Telegram has introduced the option of finding a group by searching for a contact who’s also a member of the group. All you need to do is open the contact profile and tap “Groups in common”.
